The final track for my "Morphine" EP. This was inspired by a fall I had a couple of years ago in which I sustained a head injury so major, that it almost killed me, and it follows both the event itself and my recovery period, dealing with outright pain for months and sometimes even brain bleeding, along with being constantly on opiate painkillers (hence the title of the EP), as well as frustration with certain memories being lost altogether. It also reflects me trying to fight through the bad to experience the good, and how thankful I am to still be here on this planet, as well as somehow making a full recovery. This song is a bit different than the other three, because I wanted to make it more personal rather than just for fun (though I still had a LOT of fun recording it haha). I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
